Mentoring

MENTORING

I share knowledge, experience, and wisdom to support the personal and professional growth of others. Both in groups and in the one-to-one relationship, I create a safe and trusting environment for learning to happen.

This is a learning of self-discovery. The respectful and stimulating questions I ask do confirm that thoughts and feelings are valuable and useful in creating the vision, the direction desired in life. I provide the opportunity to create an experience for collaboration, goal achievement, and problem solving.

One of my more structured mentoring/supervisory roles is the clinical supervision I provide to counselling students, graduates, and counsellors working in both agencies and in their own private practices.

Individuals, couples, families in counselling as well as the groups of people to whom I speak, benefit from the mentoring, the learning relationship I love to create. With an increased sense of human connection, they recognize their worth and their spiritful energy. Feeling understood, they are inspired to make healthy choices about how they will participate and contribute in their world. Their own knowledge, experience and wisdom are enhanced.
